Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Ashton Kutcher all walk into a bar: and they buy it. Just kidding about the bar, but the three venture capitalists have joined together to fund a project that will translate the brain's neocortex into computer code. Translate the neocortex into computer code and "you have a computer that thinks like a person," says Vicarious co-founder Scott Phoenix. "Except it doesn't have to eat or sleep."
