Default MSI X38 Platinum to come in October

MSI has confirmed that its X38 based board should be ready in October and that the DDR2 version of the board will follow the initial DDR3 version. A DDR2 X38 board is expected in Q4 but this is not the top on the priority list. The X38 Diamond will have X FI sound and 4 PCIe slots all PCIe 2.0 compatible and will focus on DDR3. The new thing that comes with this board are dual channel PWM and great memory overclocking.
