Default MSI Motherboards ready for AMD Sempron Processor

MSI motherboards for K7 and K8 are ready for the new AMD Sempron processor. Before AMD officially announced the AMD Sempron entry-level processors, MSI had already certified its entire K7 and K8 motherboard solutions and modified the BIOS as well. All MSI AMD motherboard solutions can adapt the new Sempron processor on various sockets. The new BIOS for AMD Sempron support is available on the MSI website www.msi.com.tw

All MSI K7 and K8 motherboards equipped with an AMD Sempron certification logo passed the strict performance test for this processor. This logo guarantees that the MSI motherboard supports the AMD Sempron processor without any problems. MSI places the AMD Sempron certification logo on the box of the motherboard.

A Quick Installation Guide is included to guide the user on how to use and install the AMD Sempron processor safely and properly.
All certified AMD Sempron motherboards are also listed on the MSI website www.msi.com.tw Simply click the AMD Sempron logo to check the current BIOS and PCB version. To upgrade your motherboard in order to support the AMD Sempron processor you can download the BIOS directly from the MSI website, or use the MSI Live Update(tm) 3 for an automatically update.

The MSI Live Update(tm) 3 is a software utility that checks BIOS and drivers updates automatically. MSI Live Update 3 also includes MSI's Live BIOS(tm), Live Driver(tm), Live VGA BIOS(tm) and Live Utility(tm).
