MSI launches GTX780 Lightning
 

The wait is over, MSI's latest flagship is among us. With an improved PCB and enhanced voltage regulation system over the reference nVIDIA design this card will set many new records.


Based on the TITAN GK110, the clocks of this card have been increased to 980MHz in stead of the refernce clocks of 863MHz. The GPU boost is set at 1033MHz. The 3GB of GDDR5 ram runs at 6008MHz.


The VRM is a 16+3+1 phase design, build around MSI's Military Class 4 components: Hi-C CAPs, new Solid Ferrite Chokes and Dark CAPs. In typical Lightning style LN2 features are provided, boosting the power and current up to 900W and 800 amps.

Cooled by the new TriFrozr cooling system, with triple individually controllable fans, two 9cm and one 8cm in the center will ensure great cooling performance.
