MSI K8N Diamond Plus Motherboard

It's been a fun and bumpy ride for socket 939 owners, and now
that AMD's new socket is poised to jump on the scene this summer with a
return to 940 pins and DDR2 support, is there any reason to build now
instead of waiting? In a word, YES. We're not proponents of the
waiting game, and you shouldn't be either. New technologies mean new
growing pains, inflated prices, and possibly short supply. Meanwhile,
s939 parts are readily available, priced attractively, and best of all,
have had plenty of time to mature. If carefully spec'd out, a rig built
right now has the potential to last 2-3+ years. PCI-E support (with or
without SLI/Crossfire) ensures that gaming demands are met, and current
dual-core processors saddled with single-threaded applications haven't
even begun to strut their stuff, but in time, they will."
