Default MPAA Wants $750M in Damages from isoHunt

The MPAA might as well ask for two trillion dollars in this case because they have just as much of a chance getting that out of those guys as they do $750M. The MPAA is hoping to get up to $750 million in damages from Canada-based torrent site isoHunt. The movie studio group argues that such a high sum would not only punish the site's owner, but make others think twice before they start a similar website. "The jury should award an amount of damages that not only will punish defendants but deter defendants and those like him," MPAA says.
