The 690G and the 7050PV are substantially equivalent chipsets, where the greatest difference is the support at HDR and SM3.0 of the nVidia one, and a similar price, around 50-60€.
This MSI all-in-one motherboard integrates all the necessary, like HDA audio, Gb Ethernet, Firewire and video, showing also it as solid and stable, even if the tested model is a pre-release sample
The only doubts that we can have are about the alimentation section, with only three phases, a solution used also by other producers.
In conclusion, we can say that the war between AMD-ATI 690G and nVidia GeForce 7050PV / nForce 630a will be decided by marketing and prices.
