More Than a CPU Cooler

Clearly the processor is no longer the only component generating large amounts of heat. Today’s powerful computers are just as likely to have chipsets and power circuitry temperatures that are also over 40 degrees. Such a large number of hot spots in the one system are likely to turn PC cases into desktop ovens. Unfortunately, water cooling alone cannot deal with all these high temperature components. While it is possible to water cool your graphics card (GPU), chipset and processor, it is not possible to water cool all the surrounding components.

That's another reason why the XP120 is better than the XP90C, more allround cooling

It is all depending on the orientation of the cooler (cooling fin direction of the heatsink) relative to the PWM and NB location.

Here is the reason why I submerge my PC under water.
