The source is quite confident that these product, while not yet announced officially, will appear on the market and for sale in the next 3-4 weeks; you'll get 2 years warranty with these products, or so they claim.

The pricing is way more than first anticipated; we we told that a price of €1500 for a 1000gb model would be within the do-able range; looking at the price of €3400 it's quite easy how they got there, combine 4xVertex 250Gb SSD (€750/piece) with a RAID controller worth €400.

A Canadian shop confirms the pricing

and adds some extra info on sustained write speeds: 200Mb/s

at that same shop you can buy a 160Gb Intel X25-M for $1018; so reaching 1000GB is cheaper with the Z-Drive
