Default Microsoft Warns XP Users Against Registry Hack

After years of cajoling, threatening and warning XP users to migrate away from XP to Windows 7 or 8.1, along comes a simple registry hack that will allow users to continue receiving updates. For some strange reason, Microsoft is against the whole thing. "The best way for Windows XP customers to protect their systems is to upgrade to a more modern operating system, like Windows 7 or Windows 8.1."
