| Microsoft Vista System Performance Rating Tool comes under fire, but it's not all bad As part of the ramp up to the release of Windows Vista in early 2007, Microsoft released a Windows system performance rating application that aims to give consumers an idea of how well their PCs will run Windows Vista and software designed for the OS. The System Performance Rating Tool analyzes components such as CPU speed, system memory, video card GPU and memory, and the hard drive to give consumers an overall system rating. Sounds simple, right?
