| Microsoft starts CPU architecture team WE'VE LONG said that Intel should take Microsoft head on and design an operating system that is optimised, fast and robust. According to the NY Times today, Microsoft will start a Computer Architecture Group, headed up by a man who runs the Silicon Valley campus.
