Default Microsoft pulls Windows 10 support from Galileo

Microsoft is pulling the support plug on Windows 10 IoT Core which was a key part of Intel’s low-cost Galileo boards.

Intel’s Arduino-compatible Galileo boards have Quark SoC X1000 chips but it appears that Redmond and Intel have had a change of heart about the boards.

In an update, a spokesMicrosoft said that while there had been some fantastic innovation with the platform Galileo did not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 10 IoT Core.
