| Microsoft Patches Major Hotmail Zero-Day Flaw If you suddenly can't access your Hotmail account because your password no longer works, then you probably have been hacked using a simple exploit that has spread across the Internet like wildfire. Microsoft has quietly fixed the vulnerability in the password reset function. At this time, it is unknown just how many accounts were compromised. Getting it back may be more difficult, as the standard first step in any account hack is to reset all the recovery information so that the original owner can't retrieve it. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/04/..._zeroday_flaw/ |
