| Microsoft Goes After Fake Halo 4 Beta Web Site If you received an invitation to sign up for a Halo 4 Beta test, forget it, it's not the real deal. Microsoft has filed an official complaint over Halo4beta.net's attempt to infringe on Microsoft's copyright. The site has been since been shut down by the owner, but not quite fast enough for Microsoft who is going after ownership of the domain name. Apparently wanting to avoid legal troubles after gaming sites went abuzz with David Ellis' warning, the operator of Halo4beta.net took the website down, but that's not going to be enough for Microsoft. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2012/01/...beta_web_site/ |
