| Microsoft gives RT a make over Microsoft is about to upgrade Windows RT 8.1 and give its users a handful of new features. However, among those features will not be the support for new universal Windows apps and generally it is a low key upgrade. Microsoft has said that Windows RT devices will still be able to purchase, download and run apps from the Windows Store that are compatible with the older operating systems, but newer apps will unavailable. It is pretty obvious that if Windows RT devices won't be upgraded to Windows 10, the new apps built for that particular platform will not work. We already knew that the company won't be providing a Windows 10 update for ARM tablets and many had thought that Redmond was going to walk away from the ARM based OS completely. http://fudzilla.com/news/notebooks/3...rt-a-make-over |
