Meizu MX5 phones get FlyMe 5 update
 

Famous for its MX and Note phone lines, Meizu last night started rolling out the FlyMe 5.0 update for the Meizu MX5 phones.

The update can be downloaded over the air and this 940MB file takes a long time to download. Meizu servers are swamped and cannot cope with that much traffic so you are going to have to be patent.

Aternatively download the update.zip file from meizufans.eu on your PC and copy it via cable to the phone and then run it. Once you copy the file onto your phone click the update.zip and wait. The install will finish within 15minutes if not less, depending on how much storage and applications you have.
