Default Make Browsing Safer for Children in Google Chrome

If you are worried about the websites that your children could accidentally visit while browsing, then you may want to have a look at the Kid Safe – LinkExtend extension for Google Chrome.

Kids can open Internet Explorer or even install Firefox, Opera or Safari, browsers that aren't protected by this extention. Much safer way would be a system wide protection.
It's btw ridiculously easy to disable:

It's in fact harder to re-enable it

And, it also loads the page before checking the safety, so kids could be seeing things that they shouldn't be seeing

So, in my humble opinion, it's a nice addition if you have a system wide protection, but on its own it's a worthless plugin.

thanks for testing this, it's indeed a bit ridicilous to have if you can't password protect it.

on Vista/7 you can very easily lock down what applications can be run, so you can disable FF/IE etc
