Local hardware tester Windwithme got his hands on an early Intel Q8200 Quad Core CPU, which is slated for release later this month. This new 45nm Intel Quad Core CPU is clocked at 2.3Ghz (7x333) with 4Mb L2 cache and will cost about $200.

Windwithme tested this new CPU on a brand new motherboard from Biostar TP45, both pictured below:


Overclocking wise neither CPU or Motherboard disappoints.. the CPU reached speeds up to 3.6Ghz, the motherboard with a Quad Core up to 520Mhz FSB!
