Logitech MOMO Racing Force Feedback Wheel Review Link: http://www.barrys-rigs-n-reviews.com...re/lmr/lmr.htm Quote: "Even after shedding its more reassuringly durable metal components, the Logitech MOMO Racing Force Feedback Wheel, with its looks, comfortable feel, features, and versatile, easy-to-use software, is still better and more solidly built than any of the competition’s wheels in the same or lower price range and will more than likely last you beyond it’s 1-year limited warranty. If you’re in the market for a good force feedback racing wheel for your PC, this is one that deserves your consideration." |
The best affordable Steering Wheel for PC is actually a PS2 wheel:) the Logitech Driving Force Pro can be used on PC and has official support and drivers, don't go MOMO, go DFP ;) |
OK, you've got me intrigued: The 900 degree steering feature on the Driving Force Pro doesn't work on PC games even if they are the same title as the PS2 games, correct? |
it works perfectly on PC games, what's more with the Wingman profiler you can set the lock to any degree you like. 500° (some prefer 700°) seems to work best for "road cars" 200° for Formula 400° for GTR cars http://www.wingmanteam.com |
If I get the opportunity to try out a Driving Force Pro, I will. Thanks for the information! |
hmm is it possible to play PC emulated PS2 games such as Gran Turismo 3/4 or maybe even Initial D with the Logitech MOMO Racing Force? |
that will depend on the PS2 emulator you are using, I don't think there's one yet which can let you play GT4 at a reasonable FPS |
hey you all again.. sorry for not replying your last post jmke.. but anyways i have decided to buy the driving force pro :) now jmke, i just wanna know if your dfp actually makes the noise when spinning the wheel.. or is it just mine? |
the noise it makes it the wheels inside of the feedback engine being spun, it's normal and you'll hear the same with 99% of all Force Feedback wheels for home-use. |
ahhh... i see.. alright then i guess ima try some other game out now... :D thanks for all =] |
