Icon17 Lenovo adopts AMD chips for desktop range

CHINESE company Lenovo will use Athlon 64 and Sempr0n chips in desktops which it hopes to sell in the US, the UK, France, Germany, Russia, Anzacland, Canada and Mexico.
The firm acquired IBM's PC business and it seems like IBM is still helping it out with its marketing too. IBM sends out regular email announcements to customers who request it and the last such e-missive from Big Blue was stuffed full of Lenovo information.

The chips will be used in the Lenovo 3000J105 range which AMD reckons are available today.
