| Judge Dismisses Claims in Intel Antitrust Lawsuit You know this ruling has to make Intel very, very happy. he suit alleges that Intel Corp., based in Santa Clara, Calif., paid billions in kickbacks to computer makers so that it could dominate the microprocessor market, and that it retaliated against manufacturers who did business with competitors. The Delaware judge dismissed claims the attorney general's office had filed in what it said was a "parental" role on behalf of individual computer purchasers, saying there was no express statutory authority for the state to bring those claims. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2011/12/...trust_lawsuit/ |
