 |  Intel Xeon Price Cuts Pushed Back According to Intel guidance, the company pushed back price cuts of its Xeon product lineups by one week. Originally scheduled for July 22nd, existing Intel Xeon 5300-sequence processors will not receive price cuts until July 29th. Intel pulled the next generation Intel Xeonlaunch in from 2008 into the last quarter of 2007. The company traditionally cuts pricing of its previous generation before its next architecture, though with the Penryn launch roped in the window for cheap 65nm Core-based Xeons is rapidly shrinking. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=7676
