Default Intel X57 chipsets to get new features

Intel has a nice set of features to introduce with the Q3 launch of its P55 chipset and Lynnfield quad-core CPUs, but it plans to add many features to this and X57 platforms in Q1 2010.

P55 will support Intel storage matrix 8.5 with Raid 0,1, 5 and 10 featuring Intel rapid recover technology from Q3 2009 launch, but the rest of the listed features will become available in Q1 2010.

First new thing that is coming is a redesigned user interface that should be easier to use, and should add full MUI support. The second thing is Braidwood, new integrated caching technology with integrated solid state drive functionality.
