| Intel's Yonah notebook chip clock speeds revealed CHIP GIANT Intel has now firmed up clock speeds for its Yonah 65 nanometre version of the Centrino Pentium M chip, and will launch the beasts in both single core and dual core versions. That's according to recent road maps seen by the INQUIRER, which show that the dual core models will clock at 2.17GHz, 2GHz, 1.83GHz and 1.67GHz. Each of these processors will include 667MHz buses, have 2MB of L2 cache, and support other desktop features such as VT. The single core version of the Yonah processor will clock at 1.67GHz, and Intel will also introduce low voltage and ultra low voltage processors in dual core flavours. The Yonah 65 nanometre chips will be launched in the first quarter of 2006. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=22500
