| Intel's obsession with marchitecture is hiding real problems In the end, we are left with a company that is not addressing the problems that it needs to. Intel knows what the problem is, knows how to fix things, and has all the resources to do so. But instead of doing the obvious, it is spending the capital on short term stopgaps and PR spin. That money is flat out wasted and allows AMD to widen the technological gap at its leisure.
