Default Intel’s Denverton has 16 next-generation CPU cores

Intel has been talking about its plans for low-power, highly integrated system-on-a-chip designs aimed at the server market for years now, it even released Avoton which was not bad but did not really go far. Now it looks like the second generation is getting close to release.

Dubbed Denverton this version might be enough to do some damage. CPU World managed to dig up some details on Denverton and it is looking rather interesting.
