| Intel plans price drops for Q3 2008, intros E8600 and Q9650. Q6600 not EOL yet! Interesting details have surfaced (thank you Firetech for the link!) regarding Intel's plans for their Wolfdale and Yorkfield CPUs in 2008. Later this year we'll see another speed bump for the dual core CPUs, E8600 running at 3.33Ghz and Q9650 at 3Ghz. With these upgrades the E8500 will reduce drastically in price ($266->$183) as will the Q9550 ($530->$316). What's also worthy of note is that the older Q6600 will stick around a while longer and get a nice price drop. More details at the link, translated from HKEPC.com site http://translate.google.com.au/trans...hl=en&ie=UTF-8
