Default Intel Pentium4 LGA775 Processors

Therefore, in my view the number of negative points of the new LGA775 platform is definitely more than positive. And these are all purely production and technological flaws. There is also a traditional marketing shortcoming - high prices for almost all the components of the new system (motherboards, video cards and DDR II memory modules).

The situation may change only after transition to the faster bus (support for the DDR2 will turn into benefit), as well as wide availability of PCI Express devices which allow implementing the potentials of this high-speed bus. Anyway, let's wait for the moment to come and see/test it once again.
