Default Intel Pentium 4 6XX and Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.73GHz CPU Review

Intel Company has just announced new processors based on Prescott 2M core featuring 2M L2 cache memory. Besides that, these Pentium 4 CPUs also support Enhanced Memory 64 Technology and Enhanced Intel SpeedStep. Let’s find out if these architectural innovations will affect the situation in the processor market.

So many graphs and data points to read. Although I was kind of expectating similar results, I have to make sure I could put Intel in the back burner for awhile.

Net Net .... an overclocked Northwood in the 3.5-4 Ghz range would stay within striking distance of the leading edge until the time 64-bit apps become mature. The same could be said for S939.
