Default Intel Notebook Roadmap: Pentium M to get 533MHz, PCIe support Q1

Intel's Sonoma project which includes the 915/910 Express chipsets won't now launch until the first quarter of next year. But when it does, the Pentium Ms will also support a 533MHz system bus.

That's according to road maps shown by Intel to its customers.

Although the mobile Intel Pentium 4 processor which supports HT will stagger on until the end of Q1, it will then be discontinued, and displaced by the chip company's Centrino Mobile family.
