Default Intel to lay off 10 per cent of IT staff

A REPORT said Intel will lay off up to 10 per cent of its IT staff worldwide. Intel has approximately 5,000 staff working worldwide on its IT systems out of its 90,000 plus payroll.

Some of the staff may be re-deployed - last week we reported 200 jobs were set to go at Intel Ireland.
