Default Intel Larrabee has DirectX and OpenGL support

After our story here where we said that Larrabee doesn't need DirectX, Intel was fast to react and say that Larrabee will support both DirectX and OpenGL.

Microsoft is about to announce DirectX 11 later this month and obviously there is no any big noise about Ray Tracing support. Intel has to and Intel does support DirectX and OpenGL and we are hearing that samples are expected later this year and the final production at some point next year. We do expect many driver issues especially with older games as Intel’s graphic driver sucks to this very date and we don’t think that the company can fix it until mid 2009.
