Default Intel Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend by 10%

Intel Corporation's board of directors has increased its quarterly dividend on the company's common stock approximately 10 percent, to 14 cents per share. The dividend will be payable on June 1, 2008 to stockholders of record on May 7, 2008

the dividend yield is still above 2%, which is quite good for stock and excellent for tech stocks

Wouldn't the EPS have to be ~40 cents to make the Dividend yield 2%? Assuming Dividend yield is EPS / Share price then 0.128 / 20.12 = 0.63%

it's a quarterly dividend

Ah, I see. 4 x 14 cents means 2.5% Dividend yield... thx
