Intel in-house Watercooling

The enthusiast arena has been playing with liquid cooling for a number of years. Now, Intel has developed "Advanced Liquid Cooler" which aims to bring watercooling to the mainstream. In order to do this the unit has to be reliable, and has to be easy to install.

This is... original. Self contained, no need for a refill, using a standard 12cm exhaust, metal piping. The journo is right to say this could be something found on a dell box.

However, with the thermal footprint going down in the intel next gen of processors, I can't imagine this becoming 'the standard'.

But as a one-off marketing piece of fluff to push some dell 'gaming' machine to the masses, yes. I can already hear the 12yo screaming at their parents to get them a watercooled system.

Oh thanks Jmke, I'm from London, UK. 28 married, 2 children who thank god are not screaming for watercooled dell xps machines. (yet).

I've been looking a forum that had a list of current hardware news for a long time, looks like I found it :-D
