Default Intel gears up 3D XPoint Optane

For consumers and enthusiasts

The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell on earth yarn which claims that Intel is about to release the first 3D XPoint "Optane" storage products for consumers and enthusiasts.

Benchlife.info claims Chipzilla will roll out its Optane Memory 8000p series devices in 16GB and 32GB capacities. Optane is an NAND flash alternative which acts as a half-way house between system memory and storage.
