Intel EPSD Rolls out Xeon Phi Coprocessor Support at SC'12
At Supercomputing 12, Intel's Enterprise Platforms and Services Division (EPSD) demonstrated support for the newly released Intel® Xeon Phi™ built on Intel's Many Integrated Core (MIC) architecture in their server board and system offerings. Server resellers using Intel® Server Boards and Systems will be able to configure a broad range of server offerings supporting Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors. Intel also unveiled their new 4 socket server board S4600LH (formerly codenamed Lizard Head Pass), and the associated server system R2000LHT. Both are designed to meet the needs of HPC customers and deliver best in class serviceability features with uncompromising performance and high reliability.
