The DP55KG boasts solid performance, rock solid stability, and Intel has even published their own BIOS performance tuning guide for the board. Such a guide in the older days would have been a shock, but with Intel's modern boards like the DX58SO and DP55KG, it will allow Intel to potentially attract a wider audience for its enthusiast grade boards.
