 |  Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 and E8200: The New Oldie vs. The Old Novelty Indeed, the latest Core 2 Duo E6850 is based on the 65-nm core. That is, a new processor on the old core. On the other hand, Core 2 Duo E8200 operates at the old 2.66 GHz, even though it features the new 45-nm core. That is, the new core at the old frequency.
