| A lot of complaining by geeks across the globe! The few cakes baked will surely fly of the shelves though. |

| I think www.overclockers.com had a piece about the Conroe, sharing info tidbits like having to wait until well into 2007 before Conroe shipments would surpass the current P4 generation, and the first shipments going into OEM more so than into retail? well, we'll see.

| well, having to wait till 2007 is no bad thing, if the cpus then available outclass my fx53 heavily, then it would be worthwhile to buy one and I would have lasted 3 full years with my cpu, that'd be about the same as an entire human generation! That'd also mean the investment of 1000 euro's at the time wouldn't have been so bad, but knowing that I clock my fx53 at default since overclocking it to 3 ghz never meant anything for my high end gaming may get me to wait even longer...by then we'll have ANOTHER new socket we'll just see what the gpumarket does

| you can't justify that €1000 CPU price, no way I have €200 A65 3000+ S754 still running at stock speeds, speedy enough for gaming
