Over the years Intel has managed to consecutively launch a new architecture, living up to their aggressive "Tick-Tock" strategy and today’s launch of their 4th generation Core Processors code named “Haswell” falls under the “Tick” category, meaning we are looking at a new micro-architecture that includes a new graphics core, AVX2 instructions and dispatch ports.
