Default Intel 3D Video Card Larrabee will use a 12-layer PCB

From what we've been told by our reliable source in this matter, Intel is having some issues when it comes to making Larrabee a cost effective card to manufacture, and right now they're stuck with a 12-layer design; that's four more layers than you find on even the most expensive graphics cards today.

This is a cause of concern, as it'll make it very expensive to make these PCB, not taking into consideration all the other components going into making a graphics cards. Intel will be selling cards to its partners much like what AMD and Nvidia are doing today when it comes to the high-end parts.
