Default HP’s EliteBook 6930p Laptop Can Operate 24 Hours on Battery

Hewlett Packard on Monday unveiled its new HP EliteBook 6930p laptop that can operate for as long as 24 hours with special ultra cell capacity battery under certain conditions. The actual battery life of the product may be considerably lower, however, it should be among the longest in the industry.

In order to work for 24 hours, the EliteBook 6930p requires separately purchased 12-cell ultra capacity battery and customer download of the latest Intel graphics driver and HP BIOS. Notebook must be configured with optional Intel 80GB SSD drive and HP Illumi-Lite LED display (planned to be available October 2008) and requires Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
