![]() | It's no secret that the U.S. Forces get all sorts of cool gadget toys. But this one might be enough to make more than a few gadget enthusiasts really jealous. HP is crafting a one-of-a-kind flexible solar-powered commando watch for our nation's soldiers. Carl Taussig, director of information surfaces at HP Labs in Palo Alto, California comments, "We call it a **** Tracy watch. It doesn't break. It's thin. It's potentially flexible." HP hopes to have a prototype completed within a year. The watch's flexible plastic display will be capable of displaying maps and other strategic information to soldiers in remote combat fields. HP plans on giving the watch to a handful of lucky soldier for testing before deciding whether to pursue a big contract. http://www.dailytech.com/HP+Unveils+...ticle18442.htm
