Default How to unlock Geforce GTX 465, make a 470 out of it

Reference based GeForce GTX 465 will unlock to GTX 470 in a couple of simple steps.

Quote:
As we learned later, the problem that prevents drivers to see and use all the power board was a quantity of data that is saved every time you update the BIOS graphics.. These data are called Data Preservation and is actually a card table with specifications (Preservation Table). The only solution is complete erasing's EEPROM (memory which is stored in the VGA BIOS), including so-called Preservation Date. Then we can calmly GTX 470 BIOS and quietly enjoy the upgrade done.
CAUTION: Works with reference cards with feature 10 memory chips, if you have a 465 with only 8 chips... don't try this!

Guess the versions with the 10 memory chips will be sold fast, because they are just normal 470 cards with 465 BIOS flashed on them. Anyone recalls the EVGA 6800 Limited Edition cards? I had one and it was basically flashed with a crippled 6800 Vanilla BIOS. After flashing it to Ultra BIOS, everything went fine .
