Default How much do you spend on Hardware each year?

My wife thinks I spent too much on hardware,
but I think I don't spend enough, I always have to buy budget things (radeon 9000, ECS K7S6A motherboard).
Since I can not spend a lot of money, I do more research in wat I buy, I can't afford to make mistakes.

But that's what you get when you're married, and have a house to pay off.

If I choose one of both answers, I'll get in trouble.
So I will stick to "No comment"

If I were to count from last year, 'till now, I'd have to say something around 3500-4000€
although I did sell a lot of my old hardware this year, I don't really know where I got all of that money =/
It's a good thing I don't have any other hobby's....

but I think other years I think I'm around 1000-2000€
