Default HIS Radeon X800XL PCIe

What is the next best option after the RADEON X800 PRO which has 12 pipelines? If you are willing to fork up to S$750, the HIS RADEON X800 XL is a noteworthy choice.

The HIS RADEON X800 XL PCI Express card is packed with 256MB GDDR3. Its default engine speed is 432MHz, which is higher than the 400MHz VPU clock of most other cards. However, this is not its maximum potential as HIS has provided an overclocking software (iTURBO) that helps the user to achieve even greater clock speeds.

The notable huge IceQ II cooler is surprisingly silent during operation and it cools the card far more effectively than ATI's stock HSF. The VPU and forward facing RAM modules have direct contact with the cooler’s copper surface while at the back, the rear RAM modules are also kept cool by the Aluminum heat-dissipating plate.
