Default HEC Power 525 Power Supply Video Review

The HEC Power 525 has more than enough juice for the most demanding computer systems. With 525 watts of power & two quiet 80mm temperature controlled fans, there's no questioning it’s capabilities. All the leads are long & sleeved for clean n' sweet looks inside your case. It's a perfect unit for any system but it's especially suited for server computers where long leads & plenty of connection are preferred. Watch the Video to find out more..."

I'll take any popular and known brand with less "juice" before going for an unknown high output PSU like that...

I'm currently going all out on testing the new Cooler Master 450W PSU and having hard times of getting the power meter over 250Watt..

P4 2.4 @ 3.2
1GB PC3200 with LEDs (will let you guess the name )
5x HDD
4x CDrom
AGP Geforce FX5900XT
PCI Promise Raid5 Controller with 32Mb SDRAM

all the storage devices are powered, but one is hooked to the motherboard, tommorow I'll connect everything to the main board (or try ) and start copying and burning CDs while stressing the CPU and running 3DMark loops.. that should push the system over 300Watt usage

HEC should be a good brand; couldn't remember exactly the full name, but sound something like "Herochi".

Agree, whatever is labeled does not mean sh_t; better chance with name brand products. Name brand does NOT equal "popular" brands. Many new comers got popular from the flashy cases they sell and private label some cheap sh_t.

jmke is going to test the hell out of the Cooler Master.
