Default HD 38x0 top end to sell for $199

We’ve received a short update and learned that RV670XT the card that might end up branded as Radeon HD 3870 will sell for $199 at launch.

Nvidia expected a $249 price for the new RV670XT, but ATI realized that G92/D8M is a better performer and that it has to drop the price to be competitive.

Hmm, if the card doesn't perform well enough, lets just change the name drastically enough to make it seem like it does? What is with ATI's naming scheme??

$200 vs $250, not much incentive to buy a lesser performing card, next-generation name aside.
