As promised, subscribers to PC Gamer and others are starting to receive their early copies of the magazines containing the first Half-Life 2 reviews. Halflife2.net forum member Scrop has reported back on the first review from PC Gamer (UK)'s November issue. No details on the content of the review, but with a score of 96%, things are looking very good. For some comparison, 96% is the highest rating ever awarded by PCG (UK), only equalled in the magazine's history by the original Half-Life.
